Horse RNG Auras — Complete Database
Every horse rng auras entry in one place: rarity tier, drop rate %, stat boost, which crate or horse drops it, and which other auras it stacks with. Search by name or filter by rarity. For ranked recommendations, see the aura tier list.
What horse rng auras do
Auras in Horse RNG are passive effects that attach to a horse and modify its base stats — speed, stamina, and jump height are the three affected stats depending on aura type. Unlike breed tier, auras do not affect breeding outcomes directly, but they compound with breed stat ceilings. A high-speed aura on an S-tier horse stacks multiplicatively with the breed's base speed, making the combination noticeably faster on track than either factor alone.
Two things the database below tells you that the tier list does not: exact drop rate per roll, and which auras can coexist on the same horse without one overwriting the other. Stacking compatibility matters most at late game when players sometimes chase a second aura to compound their primary one — not all pairs are compatible, and incompatible auras replace rather than stack.
Drop rates in this database come from community aggregation and my own 340-roll tracking session documented in the aura farming guide. Tou Interactive does not publish official rates; treat these as best-available estimates with ±15% uncertainty at low rarity tiers where sample sizes are thin.

How aura stacking works in Horse RNG
Stacking is the most misunderstood mechanic in the auras system. The short version: most auras do not stack with each other. When a horse receives a new aura that is higher rarity, it replaces the existing one rather than adding on top. The exceptions — the auras listed as compatible in the Stacks With column above — are a small subset where the game engine allows concurrent application.
From what community members have documented through direct testing, stacking pairs share a rarity tier or are adjacent tiers with different stat types (e.g., one is speed, one is stamina). When both conditions are met, Horse RNG treats them as complementary rather than competing. The practical benefit of a valid stack: if both auras affect different stats (speed + stamina), the bonuses add; if both affect the same stat, only the higher bonus applies even in a valid stack pair.
Mythic and Celestial auras listed as "None" in the stack column overwrite any existing aura without exception. Landing a Void Shroud or Divine Gallop replaces whatever the horse already had. This is generally a good trade since the raw stat boost exceeds any combination of lower-rarity pairs, but it is worth knowing before you farm for a specific double-stack on an Epic build — a stray Mystic Crate pull can erase your setup.
For a ranked view of which auras are most worth targeting by tier, the aura tier list covers the priority order. Where to get each aura: crate breakdown
| Crate / Source | Rarity tiers available | Approx. cost | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic Crate | Common only (28-15% range) | Free daily / low coin cost | Early game filler auras, stacking fodder |
| Silver Crate | Common + Rare (down to 3.5%) | ~500-800 coins | Mid-game first Rare aura push |
| Golden Crate | Rare + Epic (down to 1.1%) | ~8,000-15,000 coins | Epic farming, first serious aura investment |
| Prismatic Crate | Epic + Legendary (down to 0.4%) | ~80,000-150,000 coins | Legendary targeting for competitive racing |
| Mystic Crate | Legendary through Celestial (down to 0.14%) | ~500,000+ coins or Robux | End-game Mythic/Celestial farming |
| SSS Horse inherit | Mythic only (2-3% per breed cycle) | Requires SSS tier parents | Passive Mythic aura gain via breeding |
| Events / Seasonal | Varies (Celestial available) | Event currency | Celestial auras not consistently in Mystic Crate |
One pattern worth knowing: Celestial auras appear more reliably in event rotations than in the standard Mystic Crate pool. If you are specifically targeting Celestial Bloom or Starfall Halo, waiting for a Star Event gives better odds per coin spent than rolling Mystic Crates continuously outside event periods. The community has documented this timing advantage for Celestial specifically — it does not apply to Mythic auras, which appear consistently across both event and non-event Mystic Crate pulls.
Three things players get wrong about horse rng auras
1. Assuming every aura stacks. The most common mistake I see from newer players is equipping a second aura hoping it will add to the first. It almost never does outside the specific compatible pairs listed in the database. If you land an Ember Trail and already have a Frost Veil, check the stack column before equipping — if they are listed as compatible, great; if not, you are choosing one over the other.
2. Targeting drop rate without checking obtain source. The Ember Trail (8% drop rate, Rare) looks great on paper until you remember it only drops from Silver Crates, which players move past quickly. If your goal is an Epic or higher aura and you are spending Golden Crates, the Rare drop rate from Silver Crates is irrelevant to your pull decisions. Always cross-reference the rarity column with the obtain column to avoid spending the wrong crate type.
3. Ignoring breed-aura synergy. Auras with speed bonuses compound harder on breeds that already have high speed ceilings. A +20% speed aura on a Stoic (SSS) or Holsteiner (S) produces a measurably faster race result than the same aura on a Mustang (B). Before spending Mystic Crate currency on an aura, check the breeds tier list to confirm the horse it will go on can use the boost. Aura farming for a horse that is already slotted for replacement is a common efficiency leak.
Which breeds get the most from a high-tier aura
An aura's percentage boost is applied to a horse's base speed, so the same +25% aura is worth far more raw speed on a fast breed than a slow one. This is the calculation most aura guides skip. Below is the effective speed of each top breed with no aura, with a +20% Legendary (Inferno Crown), and with a +28% Mythic (Void Shroud). Breed base speeds are taken verbatim from the site's horse dataset; aura percentages are the documented values from the table above.
| Breed | Base speed | +20% (Inferno Crown) | +28% (Void Shroud) | Raw speed gained (28%) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Stoic (SSS) | 93 | 111.6 | 119.0 | +26.0 |
| Tidal (SSS) | 88 | 105.6 | 112.6 | +24.6 |
| E-Skeleton (S) | 78 | 93.6 | 99.8 | +21.8 |
| Holsteiner (S) | 75 | 90.0 | 96.0 | +21.0 |
| Shareef Dancer (S) | 72 | 86.4 | 92.2 | +20.2 |
| Oldenburg (S) | 67 | 80.4 | 85.8 | +18.8 |
| Turkoman (S) | 63 | 75.6 | 80.6 | +17.6 |
| Mustang (B) | 42 | 50.4 | 53.8 | +11.8 |
The pattern is clear: a Void Shroud on a Stoic adds 26 raw speed points, while the same aura on a Mustang adds under 12. Spending a 0.12% Mythic drop on a B-tier breed throws away more than half the aura's potential. If you are farming Mystic Crates, the only sensible targets are your S and SSS horses. Pair this with the breed data on the all horses list before committing a rare aura.
One honest limitation: these figures assume the boost applies as a flat percentage of base speed, which matches community testing but is not officially confirmed by Tou Interactive. If the game applies aura boosts to a hidden internal stat rather than the displayed speed, the absolute gains could differ. The relative ranking — high-base breeds gain more — holds regardless of the exact formula.
Expected crate rolls to land a specific aura
Drop rates in the database are per-roll probabilities. The practical question is how many rolls you should expect before landing a target aura. Using the standard expected-value formula (1 divided by the drop rate), here is roughly how many crate openings each rarity band takes on average.
| Target aura | Drop rate | Expected rolls (average) | Rolls for ~90% chance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Storm Shimmer (Rare) | 5% | ~20 | ~45 |
| Crimson Surge (Epic) | 2% | ~50 | ~114 |
| Inferno Crown (Legendary) | 0.6% | ~167 | ~383 |
| Glacial Wreath (Legendary) | 0.8% | ~125 | ~287 |
| Void Shroud (Mythic) | 0.12% | ~833 | ~1,918 |
| Divine Gallop (Celestial) | 0.14% | ~714 | ~1,644 |
The "expected rolls" column is the average — half the time you land it sooner, half the time later. The "~90% chance" column is the more useful planning number: it tells you how many rolls give you a 90% probability of at least one success. For a Void Shroud, that is nearly 1,920 Mystic Crates, which at roughly 500,000 coins each is a coin sink that dwarfs almost everything else in the game. This is why the aura farming guide recommends locking in a Legendary first rather than chasing Mythic directly — the Legendary band is achievable, the Mythic band is a long-term project.
Frequently asked questions
What is the rarest aura in Horse RNG?
Divine Gallop (Celestial) is the rarest at a 0.14% drop rate, edging out Void Shroud (Mythic) at 0.12%. Divine Gallop gives +30% speed and +15% stamina and is community-ranked the strongest aura overall. Both require deep Mystic Crate farming — expect well over 700 average rolls for either.
Do auras stack in Horse RNG?
Only specific pairs stack — most do not. The Stacks With column in the database lists the compatible combinations. When a valid stack affects different stats (speed plus stamina), the bonuses add; when both affect the same stat, only the higher applies. Mythic and Celestial auras marked "None" overwrite any existing aura rather than stacking.
Which aura gives the most speed?
Divine Gallop leads at +30% speed, followed by Void Shroud at +28% and Eclipse Stride at +26%. Among more obtainable auras, Inferno Crown (+20%, Legendary) is the best speed boost that does not require end-game Mystic Crate farming.
Should I put a Mythic aura on any horse?
No — only on S or SSS breeds. Because aura boosts scale with base speed, a +28% Void Shroud adds 26 raw speed to a Stoic but under 12 to a B-tier Mustang. Putting a rare aura on a low-base breed wastes more than half its value. Check the breed-aura synergy table above before equipping.
Where do Celestial auras drop?
Celestial auras come from the Mystic Crate and from limited Star Events. Celestial auras like Starfall Halo and Celestial Bloom appear more reliably during event rotations than in the standard Mystic Crate pool, so waiting for a Star Event gives better odds per coin than rolling Mystic Crates continuously outside event windows.
How many crate rolls to get a Legendary aura?
For Inferno Crown at 0.6%, expect about 167 rolls on average and roughly 383 for a 90% chance of at least one. Glacial Wreath at 0.8% is slightly easier at about 125 average rolls. The Legendary band is realistically achievable through Prismatic Crate farming, unlike the Mythic band which runs into the hundreds-to-thousands of rolls.
